Anyways, as the title of the post says, today I have something new to show you. Yes, again. I told you I like trying new things. ;) Today I made a box with an easel card on top.
So, what do you think? I had so much fun making this! I think it'll be perfect for a birthday gift. I just don't know who is going to get it yet. lol As you can see I made it all in "spring feeling". Butterflies, flowers, spring colours ... I was really pleased with how it turned out. I used Inkadinkado Fluid Motion stamps and Stampabilities Faded text background stamp, ribbon, lace, confetti, crystals and flowers from my stash. I inked the edges with Tim Holtz's Brushed Corduroy distress inks. Also the inside of the card and the tag in the inside were colored with Tim Holtz's distress inks - Spun sugar and Shabby shutters. Same distress inks I used on the bow - for the bow I originally used white satin ribbon, but it was too white, so I inked parts of it with distress inks. On the butterfly I used Diamond stickles to give it a bit glittery look, though it's impossible to see this in the pictures. :S I took a closer look of the butterfly so there you can see a LITTLE glitters. In reality it's more sparkly, plus confetti and crystals (when the card is opened) add some bling to the card as well. Papers are all from my stash too. I also used Spellbinders circle dies and Spellbinders tag die (from the Fancy tags pack).
Here are a couple of close up pictures ...
I hope you can see glitters on the butterfly. It looks so much better in real life. More sparkly. I'm sorry I couldn't take better picture of this. *sigh*
