I can't believe this is my 100th post. When I started blogging I never though I'd ever make it here. My friend (Lynn, who actually got me into blogging) told me that blogging could be addictive, but I was like "eh". To be honest I didn't really believe her. So even when I started blogging (that was last year) I made only a few - if any at all - posts each month. But this year for some reason (???) things changed. Now I'm officially "addicted" to blogging. So you can expect even more posts from me. ;)
Today I treated myself. No, I didn't buy any more crafting goodies, if that's what you thought. ;) I went to the hairdresser. Finally! To tell the truth, it was high time for this. I have been thinking about going there for a couple of months, but never really had the chance. Today however I had plenty of time on my hands so I thought I'd go there today. I really like my new haircut. My hair was getting pretty long and I found my previous haircut to be really boring, no matter what I did with it. Having said that, I've always prefered middle-lenght haircuts, so probably no surprise I like the one I have now more. It's a good change.
When I got home from town, I got a lovely surprise in the mail. Remember that I told you I won a prize at CropStop blog? Well, it arrived today. Yay! I can't wait to play with my new goodies. :D I was really surprised for the parcel to arrive so fast. Wow! They even sent me some lovely surprises with the prize - I got a coupon for 100% discount and flowers. Isn't that sweet of them? They really are very fast at sending out their parcels and very kind (they were very sweet when I contacted them via e-mail). If you haven't done this yet, go and visit their store - they have lots and lots of awesome thingies. I'm sure you'll find something you will like and I can guarantee that you'll be pleasently surprised by their fast shipping.
And now, let's get onto today's card, shall we? I think I've been babbling about things for long enough. ;) Today I want to show you a black and white butterfly card that I made. I kept it pretty simple; I thought the papers were too pretty to cover them with too many embellies.
These papers are from Formal Affair collection by Scrap works. Aren't they gorgeous? I love this whole collection! The stamp (butterfly) is from Inkadinkado's Fluid motion set and the ribbon is from The ribbon boutique. The crystals are from my stash.
I'd like to add this card to the following challenges:
Crafty purple frog: Fly away with us
Sweet stampin: Favourite movie (one of my favourite movies is "The butterfly effect")
Simply create: Monochromatic
Cupcake craftroom: Monochromatic
Hi sweetie congrats on your 100th post I was told by Crafty Emma it was addictive & I thought how could it possibly be addictive I used to come on once a week then now however I am on every chance I can get & I am soooo addicted its unreal.
