No stamping

Hey hey! How are you doing? I hope the week has been good for you so far. It's already Wednesday, so weekend is not too far away anymore. And we all like weekends, don't we? ;) Mine is going to be pretty busy, but fun. On Friday I'm going to help with some wedding decorating and on Saturday is the wedding day. I have an appointment at the hairdresser at the early morning and right after I'm done there I'm going to see the bride-to-be and help with some last minute preparations. I just hope the weather will be sunny and warm. *fingers crossed*

Today I have a bit different card to show you. The main difference is ... Are you sitting? ... I didn't include any stamping on it. Shocking, I know. lol I decided to use a die cut for the center instead.  My inspiration for this card came from here.

And here's the result ...

The baby pram is a newly released die from Whimsy stamps. Isn't is great?! I love the vintage look of this die cut. To make this card I used some pretty pastel pink papers from my stash, big doily, flowers, pearls, ribbon, hart charm and some lace. I also did some stitching on this card. I distressed the edges with scissors. I went for a romantic and shabby chic look and I hope I managed to achieve it.

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a great day! xx

I would like to enter my card to the following challenges:
In the pink: Stitching (real or faux)
Creative inspirations: Pastel shades
Live and love crafts: Ice cream (I was inspired by the photo collage - by all those pink ice creams; especially because I just loooove strawberry ice cream - one of my favourites)
Scrap and craft: Colours of spring
Ladybug crafts: Favourite colour
Frilly and funkie: Happy, happy, happy (I think a birth of a baby is a very happy moment :))

Wings all around

Happy Sunday! Gosh, where did the weekend go? The time just flew by for me. I had a veeery lazy Saturday and it felt GREAT! :D I was watching some shows on DVDs, did some crafting and in the evening I watched Eurovision song contest. Did you watch it? I am happy that Sweden won; I think their song was great.

Today I would like to show you a card I finished over the weekend.

I went for a bit different colours than usually. I used papers from Kaisercraft and lots of different embellishments from my stash. The little tag came from the same paper pad as the papers and so did the scallop border. I decided to colour up this adorable image from The greeting farm.

I did the colouring with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils. On the wings I used glitter glue; I love how sparkly they are.

Dies used are from Cheery Lynn and Spellbinders and the embossing folders are from Couture creations and Cuttlebug.

Have a wonderful Sunday - what's left of it - and a great week! xx

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:
The greeting farm: Put a bow on it
Cheery Lynn designs: Anything goes
Scribble and scrap: Anything goes

A basket full of roses

Happy Thursday! Just a wee bit longer and the weekend will be here! Can't wait! We're supposed to have lots and lots of rain (if what the weathermen say is true) so I think I will just stay inside and do some crafting. Sounds like a good plan, doesn't it? Do you have any plans for the weekend yet? Oh, and I *might* watch Eurovision song contest. Do you watch Eurovision?

It's been a while since I made a card with a Tilda image so I decided it was high time I ink one up and use it on my creation.

I decided to play with my newest Magnolia stamp - Tilda with rose basket. Isn't she cute? I really like her (thank you so much Linda!). I barely ever do paper piecing, but I did it this time. I just love this dotty paper and I thought Tilda would look great in a dotty outfit. :D The rest of the image was coloured with distress inks and I also used glitter glue on the flowers.

Ribbon is from Crafty ribbons and the other embellishments and papers came from my stash. I raised Tilda on foam pads for some extra dimension.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful day! xx

I would like to enter my card to the following challenges:

Spring or autumn?

Hey, hey! How are you? Are you ready for the weekend? I sure am! I will have to do some paperwork for work, but I'm planning to spend most of my time crafting. There are quite a few things I need to make ... Today was a very sleepy day - rain, rain and more rain. Perfect day to stay inside and craft; which is exactly what I did - I finally finished a card I started working on earlier this week.

I decided to have a play with Autumn happiness stamp from Whimsy stamps. I like this little dragon so much! I usually choose the papers first and colour the image afterwards, but this time was the other was around. And boy oh boy was it a challenge for me to find the papers That would match my coloured image. I don't thin I'll do this (colour the image first) again. I used lots of scraps of papers and the purple paper in thebackground is actually a recycled packaging. I'm glad I saved it - as if I knew I would need it. :P

I did the colouring with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils. The small dots around the image were made with Ranger liquid pearls.

Ribbon, doily flowers and other embellishments all came from my stash.

That's it for today. See you again soon! :)

Enjoy the weekend! xx

Pile it on: Cute animal

A touch of spring

Hey, hey! How are you doing? I hope you've been getting some lovely spring weather where you live. Here we had beautiful last couple of days, which is great. I just love spring - the flowers, the butterflies ...

A new challenge just started at Crafty ribbons blog and the theme is "animals". I wanted to add a touch of spring to my card so I took this awesome butterfly stamp, flowers and some pretty papers and went to work. And this is what I came up with ...

The butterfly is a CTMH stamp and I really like it, It was stamped with Memento Rich cocoa ink pad on a piece of white cardstock. I cut the butterfly out with my scissors and added some pearls for the body. Papers are from Folia and Authentique and the flowers, doily and brads came from my stash. As for the ribbons goes I used twill tape - daffodil and autumn leaves ribbon, which are both available at the Crafty ribbons store (along with lots of other gorgeous ribbons, lace and buttons).

I hope you'll come play with us!
Have a wonderful day! xx

I would like to add my card to the following challenges:
Allsorts: Die cuts, more than 2
Bastel Traum: Recipe (I chose ribbon, pearls, die cut, flower)
The ribbon girl: A shaped card or anything goes with any image
Natalie and Amy's challenge: Animals
Deep ocean: Flowers

A card for a friend

Hello everybody! How are you doing? Did you have a nice weekend? Mine was lovely. Friday was a holiday here and it's sort of a tradition for us to have a picninc on 1 May. This year I was in charge of bringing deserts so I spent the whole morning baking. Luckily it all turned out as planned. On Saturday I had a lazy day at home. I did some crafting, watched some shows on DVDs and checked some possible destinations for summer vacations. No final decisions have been made yet, we were just checking the offers. Have you got any plans for summer vacations yet?

Let's talk some crafty things now ... Are you familiar with Kit & clowder? They are having those amazing colouring classes and their group on Facebook is so much fun! Everyone is very supportive, offer advice, there are lots of fun stuf going there ... One of thing that was planned was a card swap and the theme of the swap was "friendship". Everybody who took part in the swap were asigned a partner for whom they had to make a friendship card and then send it to them. My swap partner was a super talented Linda. I absolutely LOVE her work and I think her cards are aways top notch so I was very excited to have her as my swap partner, but also a bit nervous, because I reeeeally wanted to make a nice card for her. I was thinking about what image to use and at the end I decided to use the adorable Rose and Felix stamp from Whimsy stamps.

The image was coloured with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils.

And here's the view of the whole card.

As you can see I used a lot of different die-cuts on my card. The papers are from Authentique paper pad and the embellishments came from my stash. The sentiment is from Whimsy stamps Sew special set.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful week!
Hugs! xx
