Frame it

Hello there! How are you doing? We got LOTS of new snow over the last couple of days so I am very happy I have the chance to stay in where it's warm. I really don't have any desire to go out into that cold. And what's worse is that the weathermen are saying the next week will be even worse - more snow and even colder. Pffff... Not something I'm looking forward to. But on the other hand, this is a perfect excuse to stay in and do some crafting. ;)

Earlier this month my sweet little baby girl was celebrating her second birthday and to add to the celebration I made a couple of heart earrings and I'm giving two people the chance to win a pair in their desired colour. This is what the earrings look like (sorry for the bad photo)...

If you want a pair, all you need to do is to comment on my Instagram photo here or on the photo on my Facebook with the colour you'd like. Blog comments do NOT count. You have til Sunday 9 am (my time) to leave your comment.

We are having family over for celebration tomorrow and we're also having a cake then. We are having a panda themed party, because pandas are "big hit" with my lil one at the moment. :)

Anyways, enough about that. I need to tell you about the new challenge that just started at The Sketchy Challenges blog. This time we would like you to use a frame of some sort on your creations. Here's my card - a birthday one. ;)

To make this card I used leftover pieces of paper from Prima's Romance novel paper pad. I just love this pad, so I couldn't part with those small strips of paper. I usually don't save them, but I did with this paper. And I'm really happy I did. :) I got inspiration for this type of project at Natascha's blog, because she often uses scraps of paper on her cards.

To decorate the card I used some gorgeous flowers, pearls and crystals. Image is from Whiff of joy and I coloured it with pencils.

So much from me today. I hope you will come play with us! :)

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:
Deep ocean: Cute and cuddly
Let's craft and create: Anything goes
Cute card Thursday: Cute critters
Allsorts: I spy with my little eye, something beginning with B (butterflies, black, birthday cake)

Easy foamiran flower tutorial

Hello everybody! Today I have a new foamiran flower tutorial for you. It's a very, very easy one, but I hope you will like it anyway. :) These are the flowers I'm gonna show you how to make...

To make these flowers I used white foamiran, Rosy dot AC3 dies and silver and blue/teal stamens. All of those things are available at Magnolia-licious store

I also used eyeshadow to do some shading on the flowers.

And here's the video tutorial on how to make these.

I hope you'll find this tutorial useful and that you will make a few of these. ;)

Have a great day! xx

Birthday wishes

Heya! I'm back with yet another card What can I say... It's been pretty busy in my crafty corner in the last couple of days. ;)

Today I want to show you a card I made for my mom's birthday that's coming later this month. She stopped by when I had it on my crafty table, so she has already seen it (ooops), but I told her she's not getting it before the birthday. At least it's safe for me to post it on my blog without worrying of spoiling a surprise. ;)

Here's the card.

I used beautiful papers from Maja Design and very cute Dressed for festivity Tilda stamp. I coloured the image with distress inks. I made the flowers myself - I used RosyDot #3 and Whimsy Lily flower dies. I used ecru and olive green foamiran, and yellow glitter stamens, double headed white stamens and ecru micro bead stamens. All of these products are available in Magnolia-licious store. At the end I also embellished the card with some lace, pearls and crystals.

That's it from me today. Have a wonderful day!
Bye bye! xx

AG with option of Valentines at Magnolia-licious

Hello everybody! It's time for a new challenge at Magnolia-licious blog. This time we have an AG theme with option of Valentines.

I decided to stick with "anything goes" theme and created this CAS card.

The image I used on my card is Aladdin Tilda with lamp and you can find it at Magnolia-licious store. I coloured it with Promarkers and pencils. Next to it I stamped a sentiment which I thought was perfect for this image and embossed it with gold embossing powder. Then I just added some small stars around and my card was done.

I hope you will come play with us. Remember, you do NOT need to Magnolia image to participate in our challenges, images from other companies that are for sale in the store are also acceptable. :)

Have a beautiful day! See you again tomorrow! xx

Apron full of hearts

Hello everybody! How are you? Do you have any snow where you live? We got a lot over the weekend so I am more than happy to share some. Where was all this snow at Christmas when we actually wanted it?!

Valentine's day is just around the corner so I am curious how you celebrate it. Me and my other half usually don't to be honest. We like to give each other small surprises all year long at random days, so we have many "fake Valentine's days" through the year instead of just one in February.

Earlier this year I was asked if I wanted to be a guest designer for The Paper Nest Dolls. I was really honoured and of course I said yes. :D I got to play with this adorable digi stamp that is perfect for Valentine's day cards, as well as for other occasions.

I coloured the image with Faber Castell pencils - nothing fancy, just regular school pencils.

For my card I used some beautiful papers from MME. These papers are really great, because they come with some sentiments and words that you can cut out and use them on your projects - like I did on my card. I embellished the card with some lace and pearls from my stash.

That's all from me for today. See you again tomorrow. :)

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:
Simon says stamp: Work it Wednesday January 2018 (Love)
Bizzy Becs: Anything goes
Cute card Thursday: Anything goes
