Hello everybody! I hope you've had a nice Saturday. I did. :) We had another nice warm and sunny day today and it was great. Spring is definitely in the air. It's also nice to see all the lovely flowers. Gosh, how I missed colours in the last couple of months.
My card is also "springy". I used papers in green and yellow colours and the embellies are in these colours as well. See for yourself ...
I'm really happy how this flower turned out. If you want to learn how to make a flower like this hop to Children learning online site and do some browsing. There's a step-by-step tutorial for a flower like this (+ some other tutorials and even some free printables). They used paper ribbons though (I used saten ribbon), but that doesn't matter. Hat pins are also my own work. Ta-dam! He he. :D To make them I used some of the items from my jewelry making supplies. :) The bigger butterfly is one of the stamps (at least part of it :P) from the Inkadinkado's Fluid motion set. And the small butterflies are a stamp from Folia. I used some Diamond Stickles on butterflies to give them a bit sparkly look, but unfortunately that's (almost) impossible to see in the picture. Border and corner stickers are from Craft creations.
