Happiest of holidays

Hello everybody! Let me start this post by wishing you all a very merry Christmas. I hope you have a magical day and that you are able to spend it with your loved ones. Were you on the naughty or nice list this year? I think I was a very good girl, especially considering all the fun presents Santa left for me under the Christmas tree.

I want to thank all of you who have been visiting my blog and were leaving me comments and those of you who were in touch by email. I am sorry I haven't been a good blogger friend in the last couple of monrhs, but soooo much has been going on... For me 2018 was a big year, which brought a lot of new adventures, challenges and experiences, for which I am very grateful. I am looking forward to see what 2019 has in store for me.

Have a very merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!

Hugs! xx

Fluffy snowman

Hey there! Phew, three posts in a row. I'm on a roll here. lol I don't have a card for you today though. Instead I want to show you one of the fluffy snowmen that I made. I really enjoy making them because they always make me smile and I made quite a few this year again. This is just one of my "snowmen army". ;)

I won't go into details on how to make these here because ther are quite a lot tutorials online; if you want to see how they are made just google "sock snowman".

To decorate this little fella's hat I made a flower out of foamiran and glued it on the hat.

To make this card I used foamiran, AC3 dies from Rosy Dot and pearl button for the center.

Have a wonderful day!

Dressed for festivity

Heya! I am back with another card. This is the one I made for the new challenge at Magnolia-licious. This month we want to see hearts or stars on your card.

Here's what I made...

I used beautiful Maja Design and Lemon Craft papers and I paired them with this super cute Dresed for festivity Tilda stamp. I stamped the image on neenah paper and coloured it with pencils. To make the pretty border I used Edwin lace.  I decorated the card I used some crystals and silver sequins.

I hope you will play with us.

Happy December

Hey everybody! I'm a bit late with this post... Sorry about that. On Saturday a new Challenge started at The Sketchy challenges blog. Theme is Christmas and you have the whole month to play with us. :)

Here's my card...

I used Lemoncraft papers and 2 different Magnolia stamps. I coloured this adorable Tilda with distress inks and I added some liquid applique on the white part of the sock to make it look more fluffy. Behind the Tilda I stamped snowflakes and embossed them with gold embossing powder.

To decorate the card I used some pearls and gold vellum snowflake stickers which I raised on foam pads for some extra dimension.

I hope you will play with us his month! xx

Ananas Tilda

Hey everybody!

A new challenge just started at Magnolia-licious blog. You have the whole month to play along and this time we would like to see something sparkly on your card - can be glitter, crystals... Anything that sparkles. :) And don't forget you need to use either Magnolia or Polkadoodles image.

Here's my card...

I made this card for my friend's birthday. I really like this sentiment - it's a Gummiapan stamp and I just stamped the sentiment several times and then cut parts of it out so I could use it on my card as I wanted to. I stamped Ananas Tilda on neenah paper and coloured her with pencils. Papers are from MME. I decorated the card with some crystals, lace and flower shaped sequins.

I hope you will come play with us. Have a beautiful day! xx

It's twins

Heya! How are you doing? I've had pretty intense week so far. So much has been going on... On top of everything I had an accident the other day and now I can't craft. Boohoo! With holidays fast approaching this definitely isn't something I need, especially since I still need to make maaaaany more Christmas cards to send to my friends and family members. How are you doing with your Christmas cards? All done yet? Or haven't even started? Or maybe you are half-way through? Well, not matter how far alon are you (or even if you haven't started yet), you still have some time to play with your Christmas supplies. ;)

The card I am about to show you is not Christmas though. It's acutually a baby card. :) One of my friends gave birth to twins and I made this card for her.

She had two boys, so I chose greenish and yellow tones on my card. I used papers from Me to you and some leftover paper scraps from my stash. For the "frame" I used washi tape. I covered a piece of white cardstock with washi tape and then just used rectangle dies to get the shape I wanted.

Clearly besotted has this adorable stamp set called "Hot stuff" and I thought these cute dragons from the set were perfect for my card. And what's even better, there are sentiments in the stamp set that are perfect for when someone gives birth to twins. At first I wanted to use "double trouble" (naughty, I know lol), but I changed my mind and used "double the joy" instead.

To decorate the card I used some pearls, sequins, ribbon, gems.

That's it from me for today. Have a wonderful day! xx

I'd like to enter my card to the followinf challenges:
Simon says stamp (Wednesday challenge): Anything goes
Word art Wednesday: Anything goes
Double D challenges: Stripes and dots
Craftyhazelnut's paterned paper challenge: Use patterned paper

Celebrate

Hello everybody! How are you doing? I hope everything is fine with you. I've been having a pretty busy week, so I am looking forward to the weekend.

Today I would like to share with you a birthday card. I'm participating in a birthday card swap so I need to stock up on those. ;)

For this card I used gorgeous Maja design papers and some white cardstock. I made the flowers myself - to make them I used white foamiran, white pearl stamens and RosyDot AC3 die.

I decorated the card with some pearls, trim and sequins. To add some dimension to my card I used foam pads between different layers.

So much from me today. Have a beautiful day! xx

I would like to enter my card to the following challenges:

Happy 60th birthday

Good morning everybody! How are you doing? Did you do anything special this weekend? We decided to take advantage of the beautiful sunny day and go on a short trip on Saturday. It was really nice. And yesterday we went for a long(er) walk around the town.

I want to remind you that we have a sketch challenge going on at The sketchy challenges blog. I hope you will come and play with us.

Here's the card I made...

One of my relatives celebrated his 60th birthday in September and this is the card I made for him. Since it was a card for a guy I didn't want to add too many embellishments, but I couldn't stay away from pearls. *ooops*

For the card I used Maja design papers and different die cuts to make the card more "elegant". I think this card is pretty self explinatory, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask. :)

Have a beautiful day!

Happy world cardmaking day

Heya! Did you know it was a World cardmaking day today? I hope you managed to get some free time to go to your craftroom and play with your papers, inks, stamps etc. I did get to play with mine a little and as soon as I write this I plan to go play a little more. Christmas is fast approaching and I still need to make maaaaany more Christmas cards to send to my friends and family members. How are you doing with your Christmas cards? All done yet? Or haven't even started? Or maybe you are half-way through? Well, not matter how far alon are you (or even if you haven't started yet), you still have some time to play with your Christmas supplies. ;)

This is my most recent Christmas card.

Not really typical Christmas colours, rigth? Well, I've had these kraft/gold papers in my stash for a while and I really like how shiny they are so I thought I would use them on one of my Christmas cards this year. And I just happened to have some mint cardstock on my table when I was looking for the paper to use with the kraft one... I quite liked the colours together, so I went ahead and created this card. What do you think? Yay or nay?

The Christmas ornaments are a Magnolia rubber stamp and the sentiment and the snowflakes around it are The Greeting Farm stamps. I coloured the image with pencils and raised it on foam pads for some extra dimension.

I decorated the card with some pearls, lace and doilies. Unfortunately you can't see this in the pictures, but I used Wink of Stella on my image (the ornaments) so it's really sparkly in person.

Have a wonderful day! xx

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:

Word art Wednesday: Anything goes
Craftyhazelnuts Christmas challenge: Anything Christmas goes

A super girly birthday card

Good morning! It's my turn to post something for the Foamiran Wednesday on Magnolia-licious blog, so I want to share with you the card I made.

It's a birthday card I made for a friend of mine. She likes pink, cute images and all those girly things (lace, pearls etc.), so I made sure I included a lot of those on the card. ;)

I just love these pretty Lemon Craft papers. I think they are perfect for making romantic feminine cards. Do you agree? I wanted to give the card a bit more shabby chic look so I distressed the edges. I used several different lace, pom pom trim, pearls and sequins to decorate the card. The decorative border is Magnolia's doohickey die - Edwin lace. The little bunny is from Magnolia's Sunbeam bunnies kit. I stamped this cutie on white neenah paper and coloured it with pencils.

I made the flowers with white and green foamiran and AC3 dies by Rosy Dot.

This is it for me for today. Have a wonderful Wednesday! Bye bye xx

Shakin' birthday

Heya! How are you doing? Can you believe it's October already? I have the feeling that this year, especially summer, just flew by.

A new challenge just started at Magnolia-licious blog. This month we want to see your favourite colour(s) on your creation. My favourite colour keep changing, but I really like pink so I decided to make a card in that tone.

It's a CAS card, but it's a shaker. I really should make those moreoften, they are so much fun! :) For the card I used these gorgeous papers from Lemon Craft. I used Tilda with plant as my main image. I stamped the image on Neenah solar white paper and coloured it with my pencils. The window for the shaker was made with Gummiapan's Old paper die. I decorated the card with some die cuts and home-made dew drops.

That's it from me for today. See you tomorrow. :)

Birthday card for a dear friend

Hello everybody! I'm back again with another Magnolia card. It's a birthday card that I made for my very dear friend.

As I said, this card was made for my very good friend, so it includes quite a few of her favourite things - Tilda, kitty, stars, red colour just to name a few. ;) For this card I used papers from My mind's eye and some yellow and white cardstock.

I stamped the image on neenah paper and coloured it with pencils (just regular school pencils, nothing fancy). This tilda is from the Love from Paris stamp set. You rock is a Gummiapan stamp.

I decorated the card with some lace, star sequins, berries and handmade flowers. I also added some die cuts.

I made these flowers using the red and green foamiran and stamens. In case you want to see the tutorial on those please click here.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful day!

Wishing you rainbows and eternal happiness

Hello everybody! Ha, three posts in a row. I bet you didn't see this coming. lol I'm actually late with this card - it should have been posted on my blog on September 1. But I mixed the themes so I had to make something new. *ooops* So, without even further delay, here's my card for this month's challenge at The Sketchy Challenges

The theme this month is "Across the miles/Travel". You are probably scratching your head thinking what does this card have to do with the theme. Well, see that adorable mousey with the balloon? In my head that balloon is the mouse's transportation and it carries it far away to the person who is getting this card in the mail to wish them a very happy birthday. ;) I mean, surely you can travel somewhere far with a balloon, right? Especially if you are a mouse. :P

I kept this card pretty simple. I layered different coloure cardstock and then on top I used some design paper from my stash. In the center I made a shaker and filled it with pretty yellow and blue heart shaped sequins. I fuzzy cut the mice and glued them on top of the shaker. Then I just added some pearls in the other two corners.

Mice are clear stamps from CC designs. I coloured these cuties with pencils. Unfortunately you can't see this in the picture, but I covered the balloon with Wink of Stella, so it's really sparkly in person.

So much from me today. I hope you will come play with us at The Sketchy Challenges. You can win a wonderful prize from our generous sponsor if you do. Just saying... ;)

Have a colourful day! xx

To make these flowers I used red and green foamiran, white stamens for the center and Rosy Dot AC3 dies. All of these things are available at Magnolia-licious store. If you like these flowers and want to learn how to make them yourself just watch the video bellow.

Have a beautiful day!

I'd like to enter my flowers to the foolowing challenge:

Back to school or Christmas?

Hey everybody! Things finally settled down here a bit and my crafty corner is more or less done, so I finally got to do some crafting. :) I think I will be very busy crafting in the following months, because I need to stack up on Christmas and birthday cards. Eeek! I've already made a few, bot not even remotely as many as I need. What about you? Have you started making Christmas cards yet?

Anyways, a new monthly challenge just started at Magnolia-licious blog and while the main theme is "back to school", we also have an "anything goes" option. As you are about to see I chose this one - I will take any "excuse" I can get to make Christmas cards. He he.

I decided to colour this adorable Christmas Tilda from Christmas party 2017 collection. I stamped the image on neenah white solar paper and did the colouring with pencils.

Papers are from Maja Design Celebration collection. The music notes paper is an actual music paper from back when I was still going to music school (which was looooong ago lol). The big lace is from my stash and the "smaller" lace is from Magnolia-licious store.

I hope you will come play with us. :) Have a beautiful day! xx

Corsage

Hello there! Phew, it's been a while since my last post. But the last 2-3 months have been crazy busy and I barely had any time to craft. Now things are SLOWLY coming together so hopefully I will have some more free time again.

About a week ago we moved to our new home. Moving to a completely new country is definitely a challenge, especially since we don't know the language (yet), but I am sure we will get through it. So far I like our new place. The town is lovely, people seem to be nice, apartment is bright and I have a nice crafty space in it too. So I really can't complain. ;) I am a bit worried because of the language - not many people understand english - but I am starting a language course in September and til then I will continue to learn on my own. Wish me luck!

Today I want to show you a corsage I made for the wedding.

I only used paper flowers and two berries/pearls. All of the flowers and leaves are from I am roses and the berries/pearls are from my stash.

The medium white flowers that I used for the corsage are the same I had in my hair for the wedding. ;)

The colours of the wedding were white, silver and light yellow, so I chose flowers in those colours for the corsage.

That's it for today. I wish you a wonderful day!
Bye bye :)

I'd like to enter my project to the following challenge:
I am roses: Anything goes

Here's my card...

I used one of the images from the Magnolia's Fixer upper collection - the image is called You nailed it Tilda. The sentiment comes with the image.

I stamped the image on neenah solar white paper and coloured it with pencils.

Papers are from Maja design Celebration collection, which is also available in Magnolia-licious store. I embellished the card with some pearls, crystals, lace, sequins and a piece of danedelion chipboard. Stitched circles are from Rox stamps.

Have a beautiful day! xx

Plant a seed of friendship

Hello everybody! I'm here today with a card I created for the new challenge at Magnolia-licious.

I stamped the image on neenah paper and coloured it with pencils. I used papers, doily, crystals and flowers from my stash. I also used some sequins and pearls to decorate the card.

Have a beautiful day! xx

Invitations (Vabila)

Hello everybody! How are you doing? I've been super busy lately - with crafting and with other things. That's why I haven't been very active online either. I want to share some news with you which will tell you what kept me busy. Sooooo...

First of all - I am getting married in a week! :D Woohoo! It's all happened so fast so I didn't have as much time to plan everything as I would normally want, but things are coming together now, so all is good. I still have some things to do, but I know I can do them. :)

Another big news is that I am moving to another country. I won't go into details about when, where etc., but I will tell you that it's soon. So looking at the apartment there, learning the language etc. are the things that keep me busy as well.

So, as you can imagine my crafty time has been very limited. I did however manage to make wedding invitations. Luckily it's a small wedding with only close relatives, so I didn't have to make THAT many. ;) I kept the design the same, but I did change some flowers, papers etc. for some of them. Want to see the pictures? Here you go...

And another one with the different big flower

All the invitations were made with Craft and you papers. Most of the flowers I used are from I am roses, but on some invitations I used flowers from other brands as well. I made the butterflies myself with modge molds and white modge melts. Doilies and lace came from my stash. The sentiment is in slovenian and it means "invitation". It's a clear stamp from Mavelu. I embossed it with gold embossing powder from Ranger.

I made these also as an inspiration for the current challenge at The sketchy challenges. Be sure to check the challenge out if you want to have a chance to win some crafty goodies.

So much from me today.

Have a beautiful day! xx

I'd like to enter my project to the following challenges:
