Wow, can you believe today is already the last day of August?! Where does the time fly?!? Don't forget that tomorrow, on September 1, we'll have our first challenge at Crafty Ribbons blog. Be sure to check it out.
And today we have a challenge for you at My mum's craft shop blog. This week's challenge is called 1, 2, 3. Are you scratching your head, thinking what this means? It's really simple; we want you to use 1 of one thing, 2 of another and 3 of yea another thing. I hope you understand what I mean. It's probably best if you check the blog and see the fabby work from my teamies for inspiration.
I used 1 image, 2 glitter dots and 3 flowers.
I used the cute image from Tiddly Inks. Tiddly inks is our sponsor this week and they are giving the lucky winner 10$ to spend in their store. I colored the image with Promarkers. The papers I used are from Provo Craft and from Sizzix' Little Sizzles. The glitter dots are from my stash and so are the flowers. I completely forgot I had those so it was a nice surprise when I found them in my drawer.
I hope you will come and join our challenge this week. Hugs!

Flowers and butterflies
Hello, hello! How was your weekend? Did you have a nice time? I had some friends over and we had lots of fun. :)
I only managed to do one card this weekend - this one was made on request. A friend of mine saw this card on my blog and asked me if I could make something similar for her. And this is the result.
See the yeellow paper I used? It's actually a stationery sheet from Diddl writing pad. I have finally found some new use from this pad that has been sitting in my drawer for a while. He he. I made the flowers myself from the colorful transparent paper. The butterflies are a digi from the MTME Bold botanicals set. I colored them with Jolly pencils. In the back I stamped with Faded text background stamp from Stampabilities and I inked the edges with Tim Holtz's distress ink. I also used border punch and a piece of ribbon from my stash.
I would like to enter this card to the following challenges:
Crop Stop: Anything goes
The paper shelter: Die cuts and punches
Just add ink: Just add ... Something from your stash
Flutter by Wednesday: Anything goes + butterfly, angel or fairy
Papercrafting journey: Anything goes
Lothian crafts: Anything goes

Choose your own sketch
Good morning! How is your week so far? Having a nice time? I have been doing this and that and time just flew by. I can't believe it's Thursday already. Do you have any plans for the weekend yet? I have 2 friends coming over and I'm sure we'll have lots of fun. :)
As you already know, each Thursday is a new sketch challenge at MTME blog. This one is a bit different because you have several sketches you can choose from.
I chose this one ...
And here's my card ...
I used the lovely MTME digi stamp from Take time for petal perfection set, which you can find here. I colored the imafe with Promarkers. The ribbon, swirls and flowers are from my stash and the DP are from Provo Craft. The swirl was done with Marianne design die.

Sue's sketch
Sue, my sweet teamy at MMCS challenges, did this fab sketch for this weeks challenge. I love it. I hope you guys do too and that you'll play with us this week.
We're being sponsored by MMCS; Kitty is generously giving the lucky winner £10 to spend in the MMCS online store. They have tons of fabby items in the store so be sure to check it out.
I decided to make another Christmas card. I have the feeling that time flies by so quickly, so before we know it there will be December and with it all the joy it brings. I am actually looking forward to this time of year - Christmas is my favourite time of the year.
I used the cute Penny Johnson's Santa stamp from Stampavie and the fab papers from Scrapwork's Formal affair. I made the paper with snowflakes (under the image) myself - on a white cardstock I stamped with Stampabilities' Single snowflake stamp using the Versa color copper ink and then I went over the whole paper with Tim Holtz's distress ink. Confetti are from my stash and so is the ribbon. I colored the whole image with Promarkers.
So much from me today. Can't wait to see your creations besed on this sketch. :)

Yellow and brown
Hey! Phew, what a hot, hot day we have today - again! I do like summer and sun and warm days, but tht's a bit too much. We've been having over 30 degrees Celsius for the last week or so. And it looks like it's gonna stay like this for at least another week.
It was too hot to go out today, so I just stayed in and watched some TV, I finally replied to some e-mails and of course I also did some crafting. :) Here's one of the cards I made today ...
This card was made by request. My co-worker saw a card I made some time ago and asked me if I could make a similar one, just in yellow and brown tones. And this is the result. I used the sweet Flying angel Tilda stamp for the main image. Isn't she just too cute? This is definitely one of my favourite Tilda stamps. I colored the image with Promarkers and yellow Faber Castell color pencil. I used glitters on Tilda's wings. You know, just to add some bling to the card. ;) I just used plain brown and plain yellow papers from my stash. I did embossing with Floral Cottage embossing folder. I inked the edges with Tim Holtz's distress ink. I used a tiny flower punch for the flower and put pearls in the middle. I also used some ribbon from my stash - I love this yummy brown ribbon. :D
I would like to add this card to the following challenges:
Crop Stop - Pearls
Papertake Weekly - Bingo (pearls, ribbon, free - glitters)
Challenge up your life - No patterned paper
Paper crafting journey - Anything goes
Bearly mine - Bring on the bling
Creative inspirations - Use your favourite stamp

Bracelets
Good morning everybody! It looks like we're going to have another nice sunny day today. A perfect start of the weekend. :)
I don't have any new cards to show you today, but I do have something else. I want to show you two bracelets that I made the other day.
The first bracelet that I want to show you was made with metal and glass beads. I've had the idea for this bracelet for a while, so it was high to make this idea a reality. So I went through my boxes of beads to find the beads that I thought would be perfect for such bracelet. I chose transparent and silver beads.
The second bracelet is also made with glass beads, but that one comes in combination of pink and black. Don't you just love how these colours look together? I know I do. ;) I got these fab black beads with flowers some time ago and I couldn't decide what to use them for. The first idea was to use them for earrings, but then I changed my mind and rather used them for a bracelet.
So much for now. I'm off to do some crafting now. :) Have a nice weekend everybody!

Calendar page
Phew, it is a typical hot summer day today. And if the weathermen are right, it's not gonna get much better soon - according to them we still have some very warm days ahead of us.
We have a perfect challenge at MMCS for these warm sunny days. This week's theme is Summer time. We want to see lots of sun, ice cream etc. - anything that reminds your of summer. So, what are you waiting for, get creativ!
Oh, and you probably want to know what the prize is this week, right? ;) It's a £10 voucher which the lucky winner can spend in MMCS online store.
I made a calendar page this time.
I used the plain yellow and plain red papers. I printed the calendar from Word. The flower is from my stash. The butterflies are a left overs from border butterfly punch which I bought recently. And the swirl was made using the Marianne design die. The sweet image is Kiki La Rue from C. C. Designs. I colored the image with Promarkers.
Have fun crafting! :)

Hello my lovely readers. How are you? We had a holiday here yesterday so this means my "weekend" was a bit longer this time. I could get used to it. lol I had so much fun this weekend - I had absolutely no time to be bored. I was going on some trips around the country with my sweety, one day we had a picnic ... Yup, a lot was going on.
But I don't want to bore you with the details about my weekend. I'd rather tell you more exciting news. Did I get your attention? I hope I did. ;) What I want to tell you is that a new challenge blog will start running on September 1 - a "Crafty ribbons challenge". I can't wait! :D At the moment they are looking for some new DT members so if you are interested in joining, hop to their blog and see what you need to do.
Don't you just love using ribbons on your creations? I sure do - ribbon is one of my favourite embellishments. Here are some of my (already seen) projects where I used ribbon(s) ...
Told ya I love ribbon. lol If you do too and want to be in this DT, why not give it a try? ;)
Have a wonderful day/evening!

A new sketch
What a strange day regarding temperatures we had today. In the morning it was so cold that I wished I had a jacket on when I was walking towards my car (and it is just a few meters). I even turned the heat on when I was driving to my work. In the middle of August. Crazy, huh? And in the afternon it got hot; even a t-shirt was almost too much.
And what's going on in the "Blogland"? At the MTME blog we have a new sketch challenge for you. It's a really fab sketch. Check it out ...
I had so much fun with it! I went for pink and yellow tones this time. You'll see piccie of my card any second, but first I'd like to apologize because the picture isn't the best. I made this card late in the afternoon/nearly evening and I was planing to take a picture the next day (at daylight). But it happened so, that later that evening I was asked if I had any cards that would be good for a birthday and so this one went "bye bye". Before I gave it away, I took a picture. First I did it with flash, but it was horrible, because the embossed paper had that shiny look and you could barely see anything in the picture. So I had to take a picture without flash. And unfortunately my Photoshop skills aren't oh so great, so this was the best I could do. Ok, enough rambling, here's the picture of the card I made ...
For the first (but definitely not the last ;)) time I used MTME digi from the "Take time for petal perfection" set that you can find here. The bottom pink paper is from Provo craft and the embossed paper is just a left over piece from my stash. Flowers, crystals and pearls are from my stash as well.
I hope you are all enjoying your Thursday!

Sports and hobbies
Hey, hey! I'm back again with another project. Yup, we have a new challenge at MMCS Challenges for you. This week's theme is "Sports and hobbies". Remember, you can use any products and you can do whatever you want (acard, a tag etc.) as long as it fits the theme. I made a card. :)
I use the wonderful yellow paper from Provo Craft. The image is from The Greeting farm. I colored it with Promarkers and regular red marker (no brandname on it). The ribbon is from my stash.
I can't believe I didn't add any embellishments on this card. So not me. But I still like how it turned out. Personally I like the bright colours. What do you thing?
Well, I hope you'll join us this week. :)

Sympathy
I am not very keen of making sympathy cards. But I was asked several times if I had any. So now I try to have at least one or two made. You know, just in case.
At MTME blog we have a new sketch challenge for you. This week's sketch is very simple and when I saw it I thought it would be great for a sympathy card.
And here's my card.
I used the plain white and plain black papers for this card. I embossed the white paper with Cottage floral embossing folder and inked the edges. I wrote the sentiment in MS Word (it's in Slovenian and it means "sincere condolence") and printed it out on a white cardstock. The butterfly is from MTME Bold botanical digi set.

Verde que te quiero verde
That's something Federico Garcia Lorca wrote once. :) I can't say I'm a big fan of green though I have to admit that I'm slooooooowly (and I mean REALLY slowly ;)) starting to like it more. But nonetheless I still decided to make a green tag for this week's monochromatic challenge at My mum's craft shop challenges. This week we are sponsored by Poodles digi doodles; the lucky winner will receive 4 digis of their choice.
See, I told you it's all green. He he. For the background I used the green paper from Provo craft over which I stamped with Fluid motion acrylic stamps from Inkadinkado. The cute girl is a digi from Poodles doodles. I colored her with Promarkers, Faber Castell pencils and green glitter gel pen. I made the flower myself from the old newspaper sheet which I inked with Tim Holtz's Shabby shutters distress ink. The crystal and butterfly confetti are from my stash.
I suggest you hop to the My mum's crast shop challenges blog and also check the great projects my teamies made. And I hope you'll join our challenge too. :)
I'd like to add this tag to the following challenge:
Sir Stampalot - Whatever you fancy
Allsorts - Free and easy
Craft us crazy - Anything goes

Christmas in August
Wow, I can't belive it - I'm actually writing a second post in one day. But I just made this Christmas card and I wanted to show it to you. I'm such a show-off, I know. lol
I finally got to use this sweet digi stamp from Heather Ellis. Isn't this snowman just too cute? I'll definitely make more Christmas card with this stamp. :) The image is colored with Promarkers and Faber Castell and Jolly pencils. I'm thinking I really should get a red Promarker too - that would make my coloring much easier (and better). The papers are from Provo Craft and the lace, doily lace napkin and pearls are from my stash. The snowflakes were made with my Xcut punch.
I'd like to enter this card to the following challenges:
Crop Stop: Anything lace
Papertake weekly: Anything goes
SFC: Christmas card
Sweet stampin' - Christmas in July
Crafty creations - Christmas in July
Totally Gorjuss - Christmas in July

Earrings
The last couple of days I've been really into jewelry making. In just a few days I made more pieces of jewelry than I did in the last couple of months. It felt good playing with wire and beads again. I'm addicted to wearing (and making :P) earrings so it's no surprise that among other things I also made these two pairs of earrings.
I received these gorgeous white glass beads some time ago with one swap. There were only two in a pack - perfect for earrings. :) I combined them with black seed beads and black glass beads from my stash.
And this is another pair of earrings I made. For these earrings I used these fab dark purple round beads, light purple (pinkish) ground glass beads and black crystal beads.
