Small paper bag

Hi everybody! I have a very quick and easy project for you today. Did you know Shawn sells Gummiapan goodies in his store? They have many great dies and stamps

For my today's project I used Gummiapan bag die

I cut the base for the bag from wa white cardstock and glued a piece of patterned paper over it. The sentiment is a Gummiapan stamp. I stamped it on white cardstock and cut it out. I raised it on foampads for some dimension.

I used some pearls and homemade foamiran flower to decorate the bag. I made the flower with Magnolia stethoscope die and to make it I used mint and yellow foamiran. In case you are wondering how to make this flower I have tutorial for it here.

That's it from me today. Have a beautiful day! xx

Who likes strawberries?

Mmmm, strawberries! Yum! Do you like them? I sure do. We just bought some the other day and they were delicious. And... I managed to resist the temptation to add some whipping cream and/or chocolate on them. Yay me! lol

You are probably wondering why I am babbling about strawberries, aren't you? Well, a short while ago I participated in a card swap in Stamp Anniething FB group. Each participant was given the same digi stamp and we had to make a card with it and send it to our swap partner. The image was of a sweet girl sitting on a strawberry.

I made this card for the swap, but also as a reminder for the current challenge at The sketchy challenges blog, where our current challenge is "Ribbon, lace or twine". You have til the end of the month to enter your creations into the challenge. I hope many of you will join us!

Here is the card I made.

Image is from Stamp Anniething and I coloured it with pencils. Papers are from my stash and the flowers are from I am roses. I also used some crystals, pearls and a piece of dotty ribbon as embellishments.

So much for today. See you again tomorrow. :)
Hugs! xx

Happy 60th anniversary

Hello everybody! I'm back with a new card. This one was made for 2 were special people - my grandparents. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary (wow, right?!). I really wanted to make a shabby chic/romantic card for them and this is what I came up with.

I had these gorgeous shabby chic papers in my stash and I thought they would be perfect for my project. To achieve a (more) romantic look I added lace, pearls and flowers. I also used some crystals, chipboard peices and heart shaped sequins to decorate the card. I distressed the edges with my scissors.

I made the flowers myself - I used white and pale pink foamiran to make them. You fan find foamiran in lots of different colours at Magnolia-licious store

To make the big flower I used Tim Holtz's Tattered florals die and for the small (pink) flowers I used Rosy dot AC3 dies. For the center of the flowers I used different stamens from Magnolia-licious store.

This is all from me today. Have a wonderful day! xx

Have a happy day

Hello there everybody! How are you doing? We are enjoying the warm sunny days. :) We had a pretty busy weekend (going here and there) and it feels good to be able to spend the next 2 days at home. I'm definitely going to take it easy. :D

Despite everything that's been going on here I managed to make a couple of cards. One of them is the one I am about to show you... I made it for the new challenge that just started at Magnolia-licious challenge blog. The theme is Anything goes with optional spring.

I made a CAS card with the super duper cute bunny stamp from Magnolia's Sunbeam collection. I made an attempt to create a spring scene with some flower and butterflies stamps. I did the colouring with pencils. To decorate the card I only used a couple of sequins.

I hope you will come play with us this month.

Have a wonderful day! xx
