Black and white Christmas wreath

Hello everybody! How are you doing? I hope everything is well where you live. Do you have any plans for Easter. I'm planing to cook some traditional meals and we will probably colour a few eggs, but that's pretty much it.

I didn't make (or better said: finish) and Easter cards this year. Shame on me, I know. Luckily my lil one saved me - she made quite a few and we sent those to our relatives.

Well, since I don't have any Easter creations to show you you, I thought I'd share with you another Christmas project that I made quite some time ago, but never posted it here.

I made this Christmas wreath from scratch. First I made the base from old newspapers and then covered it with ribbons, Then I made some flowers from ribbon and felt and glued them onto the wreath base. All of the ribbons used on this project are from Crafty ribbons.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful week! xx

I'd like to enter my project to the following challenges:

Fluffy snowman

Hey there! Phew, three posts in a row. I'm on a roll here. lol I don't have a card for you today though. Instead I want to show you one of the fluffy snowmen that I made. I really enjoy making them because they always make me smile and I made quite a few this year again. This is just one of my "snowmen army". ;)

I won't go into details on how to make these here because ther are quite a lot tutorials online; if you want to see how they are made just google "sock snowman".

To decorate this little fella's hat I made a flower out of foamiran and glued it on the hat.

To make this card I used foamiran, AC3 dies from Rosy Dot and pearl button for the center.

Have a wonderful day!

Celebrate

Hello everybody! How are you doing? I hope everything is fine with you. I've been having a pretty busy week, so I am looking forward to the weekend.

Today I would like to share with you a birthday card. I'm participating in a birthday card swap so I need to stock up on those. ;)

For this card I used gorgeous Maja design papers and some white cardstock. I made the flowers myself - to make them I used white foamiran, white pearl stamens and RosyDot AC3 die.

I decorated the card with some pearls, trim and sequins. To add some dimension to my card I used foam pads between different layers.

So much from me today. Have a beautiful day! xx

A super girly birthday card

Good morning! It's my turn to post something for the Foamiran Wednesday on Magnolia-licious blog, so I want to share with you the card I made.

It's a birthday card I made for a friend of mine. She likes pink, cute images and all those girly things (lace, pearls etc.), so I made sure I included a lot of those on the card. ;)

I just love these pretty Lemon Craft papers. I think they are perfect for making romantic feminine cards. Do you agree? I wanted to give the card a bit more shabby chic look so I distressed the edges. I used several different lace, pom pom trim, pearls and sequins to decorate the card. The decorative border is Magnolia's doohickey die - Edwin lace. The little bunny is from Magnolia's Sunbeam bunnies kit. I stamped this cutie on white neenah paper and coloured it with pencils.

I made the flowers with white and green foamiran and AC3 dies by Rosy Dot.

This is it for me for today. Have a wonderful Wednesday! Bye bye xx

I would like to enter my card to the following challenges:

Birthday card for a dear friend

Hello everybody! I'm back again with another Magnolia card. It's a birthday card that I made for my very dear friend.

As I said, this card was made for my very good friend, so it includes quite a few of her favourite things - Tilda, kitty, stars, red colour just to name a few. ;) For this card I used papers from My mind's eye and some yellow and white cardstock.

I stamped the image on neenah paper and coloured it with pencils (just regular school pencils, nothing fancy). This tilda is from the Love from Paris stamp set. You rock is a Gummiapan stamp.

I decorated the card with some lace, star sequins, berries and handmade flowers. I also added some die cuts.

I made these flowers using the red and green foamiran and stamens. In case you want to see the tutorial on those please click here.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful day!

Happy 60th anniversary

Hello everybody! I'm back with a new card. This one was made for 2 were special people - my grandparents. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary (wow, right?!). I really wanted to make a shabby chic/romantic card for them and this is what I came up with.

I had these gorgeous shabby chic papers in my stash and I thought they would be perfect for my project. To achieve a (more) romantic look I added lace, pearls and flowers. I also used some crystals, chipboard peices and heart shaped sequins to decorate the card. I distressed the edges with my scissors.

I made the flowers myself - I used white and pale pink foamiran to make them. You fan find foamiran in lots of different colours at Magnolia-licious store

To make the big flower I used Tim Holtz's Tattered florals die and for the small (pink) flowers I used Rosy dot AC3 dies. For the center of the flowers I used different stamens from Magnolia-licious store.

This is all from me today. Have a wonderful day! xx

Tilda with little chickens

Hello everybody! I'm here today with a new card. I decided to play with another recently released stamp from Magnolia's Sunbeam collection - this time I chose Tilda with little chickens.

Isn't she a cutie? I really like this whole collection. I stamped the image on neenah solar white paper and coloured it with pencils. It's hard to see in the photo, but I also played with my pencils to create background.

I made the flowers myself. I used Whimsy stamps Lily flower die set, Rosy dot AC3 dies, several different stamens and 2 different colours of foamiran.  Other embellishments I used on my card are white berries, lace, pearls and paper doily. I also used one of the newly released doohickeys - Wedding lace. Papers are from MME.

This is it from me for today. See you again soon. :) Have a beautiful day! xx

Wonderful Tilda

Hello everybody! I'm back again with another Magnolia card. I just got some new crafty things and I used quite a few of them on my card. Most of them are available at Magnolia-licious store.

This image is called Wonderful Tilda and I just couldn't wait to colour her. I mean, look at her, isn't she a cutie? I coloured her with distress inks. the gorgeous papers are from Maja design Celebration collection. I made the flowers myself from white foamiran and different teal and silver stamens that you can find here. To make the flowers I used Rosy Dot AC3 die and Whimsy stamps Lily flower die set. I made a tutorial for the small flowers I used on my card - you can check it here if you'd like. See the stitched circles I used? They are Rox Stamps dies and they are awesome - real good quality and great price. I embellished the card with some black crystals, pearl string, tiny pearls and some lace and rose ribbon/trim. The black lace is from my stash and the beige lace and rose trim are from Magnolia-licious store

Don't forget that the new challenge started yesterday at Magnolia-licious blog. Theme is AG (with *option* Easter) and you don't even have to use Magnolia stamp to join in - see sidebar on the challenge blog for details. I hope you will come play with us. xx

Birthday wishes

Heya! I'm back with yet another card What can I say... It's been pretty busy in my crafty corner in the last couple of days. ;)

Today I want to show you a card I made for my mom's birthday that's coming later this month. She stopped by when I had it on my crafty table, so she has already seen it (ooops), but I told her she's not getting it before the birthday. At least it's safe for me to post it on my blog without worrying of spoiling a surprise. ;)

Here's the card.

I used beautiful papers from Maja Design and very cute Dressed for festivity Tilda stamp. I coloured the image with distress inks. I made the flowers myself - I used RosyDot #3 and Whimsy Lily flower dies. I used ecru and olive green foamiran, and yellow glitter stamens, double headed white stamens and ecru micro bead stamens. All of these products are available in Magnolia-licious store. At the end I also embellished the card with some lace, pearls and crystals.

That's it from me today. Have a wonderful day!
Bye bye! xx

Have a wonderful day! xx

Christmas blessings

Hey there! Me again. I bet you didn't see this one coming. lol ;) Today I have another Magnolia card to share with you. It's a Christmas one. I know, I know, you saw A LOT of those in the past month, but I hope you haven'te gotten tired of them yet. lol I'm making Christmas cards all year long this year so I will have enough of them at the end of the year. Well, at least that's the plan. :P

On this card I used the cute Christmas Tilda stamp from Christmas party collection. I coloured the image with distress inks and at the end I covered Tilda's dress and shoes with Wink of Stella for some shimmering look, but unfortunately you can't see this in the photo. I made the flowers myself with white Foamiran. This thing is so much fun to play with! If you haven't already, give it a try. Shawn has a lot of colours available in the store. Papers and embellishments came from my stash. All the layers are put together with foam pads to give the card some dimension.

So much from me today. Have a beautiful day! xx
