Cutesy

Hello my crafty friends! I hope you are doing fine. What's the weather like where you live? Are you enjoying warm(er) spring days yet? We got some snow yesterday. SNOW!!! At the end of April. Crazy!! I was hoping we would have some for Christmas and New Year, but did we have any then? No. Now it comes down. Crazy!

Today I'd like to show you a card I made recently with one of the cute images from The Greeting Farm. This image was released earlier this month and is one of my favourites. She's just so stinkin' cute! :)

To make this card I used different papers from my stash and several different die cuts. To embellish a card I used doily, ribbon, lace, pearls and brads.

I coloured this Cutesy Anya with Promarkers and Faber Castell and Giotto pencils.

So much from me today. Have a wonderful day!
Hugs! xx

Hello my crafty friends. Happy Wednesday! How are you doing? I hope everything is fine with you. It's a holiday here today and it's also my sweetie's day off (he's off til Tuesday next week ). :D I'm really happy we'll be able to spend some more time together. Unfortunately the weather isn't all that great, so we can't spend much time outside with our little girl, but that's ok. We are enjoying our time inside as well.

Today we have a blog hop going on at the TGF blog. My teamies have been busy making wonderful creations with TGF stamps to inspire you, so please hop to the blog and check them out.

I made a card using the adorable Starry Anya.

To mak this card I used pretty papers from Authentiqe and some cardstock. To embellish the card I used some gems, ribbons and doily.

Colouring was fone with Promarkers and Faber Castell pencils.

If you want to check what my teamies made for the hop please go to the TGF blog. :)

Have a wonderful day!

Mini album for my baby girl

Hello everybody! Happy spring! :) Isn't it nice now that it's not so cold anymore and you actually get to enjoy the sun? I love it! :) It's nice to go sit outside for a drink or go for a walk in the park ... I'm enjoing these sunny days!

While I was still pregnant I made a mini album for my baby girl, but I didn't get to share it here just yet, so I thought I would do that today. :)

I wanted this album to be bright, sparkly and full of girly things like flowers, lace, butterflies etc., so you will see lots of those through album. At the same time I didn't want to over-embellish the album, because I wanted there to be lots of room for bigger photos as well.

Most of the papers I used in this mini album came from Echo Park Sweet girl paper pad and My mind's eye Ooh la la paper pad, but I also used papers from other MME pads and some papers from my stash.

First I will show you some pictures of the album (sorry because the quality isn't the best) and at the bottom of the page there's a video of the album as well (again, sorry, because the quality of the video isn't the best).

Anyways, here's what the album looks like ...

This is the cover of the mini album. As you can see I used lots of different flowers, some butterflies, lace and trims to decorate it. The big white rose and the yellow flower are from I am roses and the rest are from my stash. My baby's name (Amadeja) was spelled with Making memories glittery alphabet stickers. Butterflies are 3D stickers from K&Co and the metal heart that is "peeking" from behing the flowers is from All my memories. The sentiment (adore) is a chipboard piece from Make it crafty.

Here's a close-up of the details.

I just love those flowers and those butterflies. <3 p="">

These MiC sentiments are great too.

Here are the first and second page of the mini album.

As I said, I didn't want to over-embellish the papges. I decorated these two pages with some brads, flower sticker and some cut-outs from the Echo park paper collection. The second page has a flap, but I didn't take picture of it. Please check the video (scroll down) to see what it looks like opened up.

These are third and forth page of the mini album.

On the third page I created a booklet (sort of) and on the fourth page there's a double flap. Please scroll down to check the video to see what the pages look like opened up.

To decorate those pages I used some lace, glittery dots, banner and flower sticker.

Here are the fifth and sixth page of the mini album.

I used some more flowers and butterfly stickers. brads and a metal heart to decorate the pages. Sixth page has a triple flap and you can see what it looks like opened up in the video.

Here are seventh and eighth page of the album.

Seventh page is probably my favourite page in the mini. It's a waterfall page that I decorated with a butterfly and one of the "plates" from Pinkpaislee. On the eighth page I created quite a big pocket and decorated it with some lace from crafty ribbons and a cute owl tag from Echo Park.

Ninth and tenth page of the album.

Another pocket page with a flap that is kept close with magnet (see video for details) and 10th page is just a regular flap page. To decorate these 2 pages I used some stickers from Sticko phrase cafe and Docraft and a metal heart from All my memories.

Eleventh and twelfth page of the album.

On the eleventh page I sort of created a booklet and decorated it with another Sticko phrase cafe stickers. It's kept close with some twine. On the twelfth (last) page of the mini album I created a criss cross pocket and decorated it with some pearls, butterflies and handmade flower.

Every second page has a big ocket to hold bigger tags and on each of those tags I stamped with different stamp from The Greeting Farm (from Ever after kit and Magical friends stamp set). Here's a picture of the tags and album (the picture was taken before my baby was born, and because of that there isn't a name on the cover yet). Images are embossed with Ranger's Queen's gold embossing powder.

And finally, here's the video of the album (again, I'm sorry, because the quality isn't the best).

So, this is the album I made for my baby girl. I hope she will like it! :)

Have a great day!
Hugs! xx

2 new stamps at TGF

Hello my crafty friends! How are you enjoying your weekend? Have you managed to do any crafting? I am trying to do a little bit of crafting when I have a couple of free minutes. Those are still rare, but they are there. ;)

Two new stamps are being released at The Greeting Farm today.

First one is called "Cutesy Anya" and is - as you can tell by the name - very cute. I had lots of fun playing with it. Below is the card I made with this image.

I told you she's a cutie pie. ;) I used different papers from my stash on this card and very little embellishments (just those heart and flower pearls) because I wanted the image to stand out.

I paper pieced Anya's dress and shoes and the rest of the image was coloured with Promarkers and pencils. The oval behind Anya was embossed with Crafts-too embossing folder.

I'd like to enter this card to the following challenges:
Little Miss Muffet: Anything goes
The ribbon girl: AG as long as it's a card
Stamping sensations: One for the girls
Sweet stampin': Paper piecing
Tuesday throwdown: Use your die cuts
Crop stop: Anything goes (from the store: different Spellbinders dies, Crafts too embossing folder))

And the second stamp is For you Anya. That one is just perfect for those upcoming summer days. Here's the card I made with that cutie.

This image is so fun and made me think of summer - beach, sea ... And I thought I would make a card in bright summer colours.

I used lots and lots of leftover scraps of paper from my stash. Flowers are 3D stickers and besides those I also used some gems, pearls and sequins to decorate my card.

I'd like to enter this card to the following challenges:
Penny's paper-crafty challenge blog: Anything goes
Through the purple haze: Layers
Crafty calendar: Anything goes
Cupcake inspirations: Patterns
Creative inspirations: Favourite things (flowers, butterflies, design paper, pearls, gems)
Hiding in my craftroom: Super scraps Saturday
Craftyhazelnut's patterned paper challenge: Use patterned paper

Soooo, I know you like those cuties, so what do you think about winning them? ;) Marie is kindly giving one of each of these two stamps away and for your chance to win one of them all you need to do is to leave a comment on the TGF blog. Good luck! :)

I hope you like my today's cards.
Have a wonderful day! Hugs! xx

Not square at Crafty ribbons

Happy Thursday my crafty friends. :) I hope your week has been going well so far. I've actually managed to do some blog hopping this week. Shocking, I know. lol Very little though, but better than nothing, right? ;)

A new challenge just started at the Crafty ribbons blog today and this time we'd like to see your cards/projects that are NOT square or rectangle. Any other shape goes. And don't forget to use some ribbon too.

I've had this chipboard mini album in my stash for a while, just waiting to be decorated. I thought it would be perfect for this theme, so I grabbed my papers, ribbons (all of the ribbons used in this album are available at the Crafty ribbons store) and other embellishments and went to work. Here's the finished result.

This is the cover of the mini album. I used lots of different die cuts, some pearls, some gems and Handmade by me ribbon to decorate it.

Here are the first and sedond page of the album. I used some more pearls, die cuts and 2 different ribbons (Tulip messages and Hooked with love).

Pages 3 and 4. Here I used some 3D flower stickers, die cuts, gems and Tulip messages and Live, laugh, love ribbons.

Page 4 again - just to show you that it has a pucket that holds a small tag.

Pages 5 and 6. Here I used some flower shaped gems, butterfly punch, die cuts, 3D flower sticker and Handmade by me and Dream, wish, believe ribbons.

Pages 7 and 8. Again, different die cuts, punched flowers and butterfly, gems and pearls along with Love sewing - zips ribbon

And this is the back of the mini album.

I got those papers at the same time as album - they were pre-cut in the same shape as the album, so this was a real time saver. I inked the edges of the papers with black ink pad.

So, this is it. This was my take on the current challenge. I can't wait to see what you'll make! :)

Have a great day!
Hugs! xx

I'd like to enter my album to the following hallenges:
ABC challenges: E is for everything (Anything goes)

AnMa Creatief: Anything but a card
Penny's paper-crafty challenge blog: Anything goes

Shades of green

Hey, hey! How are you doing? Good, I hope. :) I'm having a wee bit of free time so I thought I'd stop here and write a short blog post.

Spring is already knocking on door (at least here) and I love that. It's my favourite time of the year and I enjoy seeing all the beautiful flowers and butterflies and birdies ... Ah, joy!

I am not the biggest fan of green colour, but since everything is becoming green outside I thought I'd add a bit of "spring" to my card as well and make it in green tones.

I have quite some green papers in my stash and I used some of them on my card. To embellish the card I used some flowers, pearls, gems and brads and I punched out a butterfly as well. As my main image I used the adorable Mon Amie Anya from The Greeting Farm.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Faber Castell and Giotto pencils.

So much from me today. I hope you are having a wonderful day!
Hugs! xx

Bloom where you are planted

Good morning crafty friends! How are you today? Good, I hope. :)

We have a new challenge for you at The Greeting Farm blog and it's a super easy one - "Bloom where you are planted". What does that mean? It just means we want to see flowers on your creations. See, I told you it was easy. ;) So you have no excuse to not play with us; just grab one of your TGF stamps and get crafting. ;)

I got to play with Happy Anya digi stamp and I think she's sooooo adorable! I wanted to make bright and happy card with her and I hope I succeed.

I used some beautiful floral papers from my stash and combined them with red and brown cardstock. I made the flowers myself using Joy crafts, Tattered lace and Tim Holtz dies. To embellish my card I used some golden brads, pearls and ribbon from Crafty ribbons. Other dies used are from Joy Crafts and Cheery Lynn.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and Faber Castell and Giotto pencils.

I hope you'll join our challenge. I can't wait to see what you make! :)
Have a wonderful day!
