Lots of sparkle

Hi everybody! Wow, can you believe that January has almost came to an end? I don't know about you, but I have the feeling we were celebrating Christmas just a week ago. Time's running by so quickly! How has the first month of 2018 been for you? We got some great news, some good news and some bad news, so it's been a mix of everything. But it's been mostly good, so I'm not complaining. I'm just hoping it'll continue the way it started.

Today starts a new challenge at The Sketchy Challenges blog and this time we have  sketch for you. I like sketches, but I have to admit this one was a tough one for me, because it was so clean and simple. I kept wanting to add layers. But at the end I managed to resist the temptation and so I made this card.

Earlier this month I received a happy mail from my sweet friend (thank you Ren!) and among all the amazing things she sent me was also this amazing glittery washi tape. I absolutely love it. I used it to create background on my card. Then I cut a piece of white cardstock and embossed it with cuttlebug's embossing folder. I finished the card with some pearls, glittery star sticker and glittery snowflake ornamentt. In the center of the snowflake I glued the word "joy" which I stamped on a white cardstock and cut out with my scissors.

I hope you will come play with us.

Have a wonderful day! xx

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:
Word art Wednesday: Anything goes
Stamping sensations: Cold and frosty colours (please feel free to remove it if you don't think it fits - if the stamped sentiment isn't in the central point of attention)
Deep ocean: Let it snow
Addicted to stamps: Baby it's cold outside (stamped sentiment)
Let's craft and create: Anything goes (option love is in the air)
AnMa Creatief. Dots and stripes

Show some bling

Heya! Woohoo, it's December. Finally! Let the fun begin! He he. Have you decorated your place and bought all the presents yet? If it was up to me I'd have all the decorations up on December 1, but not everybody is crazy about this idea, so we're decorating our house next weekend. As for the Christmas gifts goes, I have already bought most of them. I just need a few bits and will probably get those next Saturday. And then it's wrapping time. Yay! :D

So, in the spirit od the sparkliest month of the year we have a "Show some bling" challenge for you over The Sketchy Challenges blog. You can use glitters, crystals... Super easy challenge, right? So come on, come play with us.

I made another CAS card for this challenge.

Again I used one of the adorable elves from MFT and another sentiment stamp from Hobby Lobby. I did the colouring with pencils and Promarkers.

On the white part of the hat I used some liquid applique. I covered the sentiment with diamond Stickles.

Snowflakes were made with my craft punch and I glued a small crystal in the center of every one of them.

I hope you'll come play with us. Talk to you really soon (with some news!!!). :) Have a wonderful day! xx

Bless

Hello everybody. Do you also have the feeling that time is moving with the speed of light? I mean, we surely can't be in the middle of December already, can we?! O.o Wow! I honestly don't know where this year went. I have already mailed all of the international Christmas cards and gifts, I just have some that I need to send to my friends here. But these won't go to the mail for another week or so, since they only need one day to get to their destination. Have you mailed your cards yet?

Have you decorated the house and put up the Christmas tree yet? We did this over the weekend. It was so much fun! Aaaaand, because I was such a good girl this year (awww, I know lol) Santa has already dropped a gift for me under the tree. It's a sewing machine!!! I've been thinking about learning to sew for a while, and now I can finally practice. Well, almost. I am not allowed to touch the machine til Christmas. *sigh* So I will probably start practicing in the beginning of 2017. :)

Anyways ... back to paper crafts. Here's a Christmas card I made for my friend.

To make this card I used some scraps of paper from my stash and the super cute "bless" stamp from The Greeting Farm. Unfortunately I can't find this cutie in the store right now, but there are many other cute holiday stamps and sets that you can use for your holiday creations.

I coloured the image with Promarkers and pencils. On the wings and halo I also used diamond stickles.

We currently have a "Make it sparkle" challenge at The Greeting Farm blog and we would love for you to come play with us.

So much from me today. Have a beautiful day! xx
