Flowers everywhere

Hello everybody! It's weekend. Woohoo! :D Do you have any plans? I'll see if I can get some free time to do some crafting and if I can I also want to catch up on commenting. Fingers crossed I can do it.

Before I go to my card, I want to tell you about the candy my mom has on her blog. Hop there and join if you want to. :)

I always like to have some cards on hand (especially birthday ones) for when I need them and might not have time for crafting. I was just going through my box and I noticed that I have quite some cute cards ready to be mailed, but almost none non-cute. Oooops. So I went to work. I always enjoy trying new things when crafting, so this card is something new for me. It's not cute and doesn't have any stamped images. Not even a sentiment. But it does have a lot of flowers. ;)

Sorry because picture isn't the best. In my opinion card looks better in person than it does here.

See, told you there were lots of flowers. ;) It was lots of fun putting this together and even though I enjoy colouring it was a nice change to make a card that didn't require a coloured image.

To make this card I used gorgeous DCWV papers from the Midnight Berry paper pad. For the center I used lots of flowers from different companies. Other embellishments I used are lace, tassel trim, golden butterflies, pearls, gems, pearl string and silicone frame. I made this frame with Mod podge molds. Lacy border is Cottage Cutz die.

Hope you like my today's card. See you soon. Enjoy the weekend! :)

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:
Scrapping cottage: Birthday card (I used Fancy lace border)
Frilly and funkie: Floral infatuation
Craft Heaven shop: Anything goes
The sketchy challenges: Anything goes
Inky chicks: Lots of butterflies
Deep ocean: Things with wings
Live and love crafts: Happy birthday/Anniversary

  3. Thanks so much for the sweet comments on my cards! I urge you to go to splitcoaststampers.com. They have so many swaps for different themes, and I know there are Christmas challenges so you can build up your Christmas stash before December.
On another note, this card is so gorgeous! I love seeing no-stamping cards. I've made some I really liked because, as you said, sometimes it's so nice not to have to worry about coloring images. I was wondering how you mail this type, though. I know mysweetpetunia.com has some card boxes, but is there any other way to mail this type of card?
