Hello everybody! How are you today? I'm having a day off and I'm planning to do some housework and hopefully I'll also manage to make a card later today. We have a christening coming up on Sunday and I want to make a card for the occassion. 

Anyways, it's Thursday today which means we have a new challenge for you at Crafty ribbons. It was my turn to choose a theme and I chose a very easy one, I promise. ;) This week we want to see your creations with butterflies and ribbons. Easy peasy, right? I LOVE butterflies and I use them on most of my projects so I guess this didn't come as a big surprise for you, did it? ;) 

Here's the card I made.

A friend of mine let me play with her Henry celebrating mouse stamp the other day and I couldn't wait to use this cutie on my card. I coloured the image with Faber Castell pencils and covered the white piece of cupcake with glitter glue. The papers are from Wild rose studio and they have butterflies printed on them, but I covered a great portion of them. *ooops* Flowers, doily, pearls and bead string that I put around Henry came from my stash. For the center of the flowers I used gold brads. Those are from my stash as well. The butterfly border die is from Joy crafts and the other dies I used are from Spellbinders. Small butterflies were made with my craft punch. Both ribbons came from the Crafty ribbons store. You can find the white satin ribbon here and the yellow ribbon here. The circle behind Henry was embossed with Ann Griffin's reflected damask embossing folder. The sentiment is in slovenian and it says "sincere congratulations".
