Nostalgia

I got this awesome new pack of quote stamps from my very sweet friend and this time I decided to make a card using one of them. I LOVE quotes and it's not a big surprise these stamps became one of my favourite things. There are just so many things you can do with them - you can make a card with them, you can stamp them in your scrapbook, use them for bookmarks, tags, make your own background with them ... Really, they are awesome!

I used one of those stamps to create this card ...

As I chose the quote about nostalgia, I also went for a bit old/vintage look with this card. I really like combination of brown and pink so I chose this combination for my card. For inking I used Tim Holtz's Brushed corduroy distress ink (I seem to be using this one a lot lately).

And as usually, here are pictures of details on this card ...

I'm entering this card to the following challenges:
Pollycraft challenge: New things (my new thing is the quote stamp)
Cupcake craft: Something new (my new item is the quote stamp)
The creative cottage: Something new (my new item is the quote stamp)
Really reasonable ribbon: Something new + ribbon (my new items is the quote stamp)
Sassy studio design: Something new (my new item is the quote stamp)
Paper issues: New challenge (my new items is the quote stamp)
