How the holidays start ...

Hello everybody! How are you doing?

Today I want to share with you another Christmas card I made.

I don't have a printer so I very, very rarely use digi stamps, even though I have plenty in my collection. Do you use digi stamps? I know there are several advantages to digi stamps compared to rubber/clear ones (e. g. resizing images to your desired size, price etc.), but even so I prefer the "real" stamping - meaning using a rubber/clear stamp and ink. BUT there are some images that I really, really like that only come as digi stamps. So when I visited my parents one day I asked them if I could use their printer to print a couple of images. One of the images I printed was this cute image from Polkadoodles that I used on the card below.

I coloured the image with polychromos and added some liquid applique on parts of the image to make it more interesting. The papers are from DCWV. I decorated the card with some die cut stars and crystals. The sentiment is a rub-on from Stampin' up. I added some foam pads between the layers for some extra dimension.

I hope you like this card. Have you started on your Christmas cards yet or will you make them later in the year?

Have a wonderful day! xx

I'd like to enter my card to the following challenges:
