Welcome spring

Heya! I hope you are fine and that you've been enjoying your week so far. I've been pretty busy with work, but I had some "me time" as well. On Saturday morning I went to the hairdresser and had my hair shorten - quite a bit if I may add. It's a big change, but I'm happy with the new haircut. I wonder why it took me so long to get  to the hairdresser! I was supposed to go to a school dance on Saturday evening (that's why I made the appointment at the hairdresser at the first place), but I got some terrible news just a couple of days ago (my dear friend lost a battle to leukemia), so I stayed at home.

On a happier note, the spring has finally come which means there are many sunny days ahead, the flowers are blooming, days are longet etc. Gotta love spring! So I decided to make a spring card for the "anything goes with ribbon" challenge that just started at Crafty ribbons blog.


I inked this adorable Tilda and coloured her with Promarkers. Around the image I stamped with Arty stamp from Kaisercraft and sprinkled some gold embossing powder.



Some flowers are from Wild orchid crafts and the rest are from my stash. Doily and pearls are from my stash as well. Papers are from Wild rose studio. The big butterfly is a Cheery Lynn die and the small butterflies were made with my craft punch. The ribbon is from Crafty ribbons - you can find it here.
