Good morning! I had such a great day yesterday! In the morning I went to a big(ger) city with my boyfriend and a couple of friends to do some Christmas shopping and in the afternoon, when we got back, my bf and I put our Christmas tree up. We even bought some new (more traditional looking) tree decorations and I like them a lot. We also found some star shaped lights that we put on the wall above the nativity scene we created. If I remember, I will take some pictures to show them to you. :)
For now, I can show you the picture of a Christmas wreath that my sweetie made for us to keep on the kitchen table ...
Isn't it pretty? I know it's not shiny, full of decorations etc., but he/we wanted it to be natural and more "simple".
I made a wreath too, but mine is a little bit more untraditional. I wanted to make something a bit different for Christmas advent event that we have going on CRPI blog so I decided to make a wreath - this is the first wreath I've ever made if I may add. lol Before I show you my wreath I want to remind you that you can still leave your info with Mr. Linky on ALL blog posts for the Christmas advent event if you want a chance to win some goodies from our sponsors. Today you can win 5 digi images from Teddy Bo. :)
And now really to my wreath. Here's the picture of it ...
I used some old newspaper to make a base for my wreath and then secured it with sticky tape. Then I wrapped around this gorgeous satin ribbon from Crafty ribbons. On the right side I added some flowers that I made from buttons, gold mesh and fabric and some pine branch and leaves die cuts that are made from white cardstock. On the other side I used this fab bead string, which is also from Crafty ribbons.
I would like to enter my wreath to the following challenges:
Live and love crafts: Anything but a card
Dl Art: Linky party - Anything goes
Sweet stampin' Christmas: Anything goes
Crafty mess: Vintage Christmas
Crafts and me: Why so blue? - No blues allowed.
Unstampabelles: Christmas (no stamps!)
Deep ocean: So this is Christmas

If you want to see more fab creations, hop over to CRPI blog and check what my teamies made. And don't forget to leave your info with Mr. Linky for your chance to win some goodies. :) Hugs! xx
