Love is all around

Phew, I survived another Monday. Mondays are always very, very busy for me and I'm usually very tired when I get home from work. Would you believe that I don't even feel like crafting?! I just want to lay down in my bed, drink tea or cocoa and watch some TV (preferably something that will make me laugh and something that won't make me think too much).

Since Valentine's day is coming up I wanted to show you a CAS Valentine's day card that I made the other day. I don't make love/romance cards often, so this was quite a challenge for me. I hope you like it.


I didn't use and design papers on my card, just some red and which cardstock, which I embossed with several different embossing folders. Around the edges I made red dots with my glitter glut. The gorgeous ribbon is from Crafty ribbons and you can find it here. The button is from my stash. The tiny hearts were made with my craft punch.

    Great card! I like embossing...

    Have you ever tried Pearl Maker? It's a liquid that makes little pearls looking almost like the little pearls you have around the borders!

    The red and white colours are perfect for a romantic card, and of course we need hearts for valentines day!
    Love the different embossing, it adds extra texture and dimension.
