Speaking about the weekend ... Do you have any plans yet? I will probably do some crafting. I'm in the mood for making mini albums right now so I might start working on another mini. But will make a card or two too. :)
There's still an "anything goes with ribbon" challenge going on at Crafty ribbons challenge blog. You still have one more week to enter your creations.
Here's the card I made for this challenge ...
I went for a monochromatic look this time. For this card I used the gorgeous purple butterfly paper from the "vintage" paper pad (I checked, but can't find the brand) and some white cardstock. I embossed the piece ofcardstock with cottage floral embossing folder and on the other piece I stamped with Faded text background stamp from Stampabilities. On the right side I used the fab purple flower from my stash. Behind the flower I added some bead strings. I completed the card with the gorgeous sheer light blue dotty ribbon and purple satin ribbon from Crafty ribbons. I made the butterflies with my craft punch and the gems are from my stash.

Your card is so pretty. I love the shades of lavender that you have used on this! That script background is so pretty and really lets you add the little bling, and butterfly embellishments without it being "too much".
