Yummy cookie

Hello everybody! How are you? It's weekend! Yay! :D Do you have any plans? I am not sure what we'll do yet, but I know I want to relaaaaaax.

Today I would like to yhare with you a pretty simple Christmas card that I made. Please excuse the bad pictures. Unfortunately I don't have any better ones. :/

It's no secret that I love TGF stamps so of course I had to use one of their cuties on my card. I coloured the image with polychromos, fussy cut it, placed some foam pads on the back and glued the image on the card. The design paper I used is from Folia and the ribbon is from Crafty ribbons. Besides the ribbon I only used some colourful pearls to embellish the card.

I hope you will have a wonderful weekend. Bye bye for now. xx

Spring wreath

Heya! Some time ago I was asked to be a guest designer at Craft-alnica blog. I accepted the invitation so today I am joining a bunch of very creative ladies from their design team with the new challenge. The new fortnight's challenge is to create a spring flower wreath for mum.

This is what I made...

First I created the template for my wreath from cardstock. Then I covered it with ribbon and decorated it with some flowers, butterflies and other embellishments. All the flowers except the big white one are from I am roses. Other embellishments are from my stash.

I hope you will come play with us this fortnight.
Have a great day! xx

Flowers, butterflies and sentiment

Hello everybody! How are you doing? Do you have any snow where you are or are you already getting ready for spring? We've had some lovely sunny days lately and the temperatures are getting higher, so I *think* spring is just around the corner. Or so I'd like to believe. lol

It's my lil girl's birthday today. Yay! :D Due to corona measures she couldn't celebrate with her friends and relatives, but we still did our best to make this day special for her. I baked her a cake (she gave me very clear instructions on what it should look like lol), we played lots of games, watched an animated movie... It was a lovely day. :)

Of course I also had to make a card for my girl. I know I showed you one last week, but I made that one for her birthday last year (I just didn't get around to blog about it til now *ooops*). This year I let my lil one choose the image and the papers herself. And the colours too. I have a lot (and I mean A LOT) of super cute character stamps and I was sure she would choose one of those, but no. She chose a flower stamp. I was really surprised, but I hey, it's her birthday and her card. Then she told me what colours she wanted the flowers to be and what papers (from which paper pad) should I use. I will be honest with you, at the end I was really scratching my head, not being sure if I could fulfill all her wishes. But I was definitely going to try.

So, this is the finished result...

While I really like this image, I usually use it on rectangle card, because it's pretty tall, but this time the requirement was to make a square card, so that's what I did. I coloured the image with my polychromos, fussy cut it and then added it to the card. The sentiment is a Stempelglede stamp. Over the word "magic" I went with some stickles and around the sentiment I sprinkled some embossing powder and heat embossed it. The pink and green papers are from the Sandylion's Tinkerbell paper pad and the yellow paper is from my stash. I also used an embossing folder to add some texture to the card. I also added some butterflies on the card. Those are Inkadinkado stamps. Again I did the colouring with polychromos, fussy cut them and then added some foam pads on the back before putting them on the card for some extra dimension. I finished the card with some pearls.

When my daughter saw the card her reaction was "woooow, I want this card for my birthday", so I guess it's safe to say "mission accomplished". ;)

Well, that's it from me today. Will be back again soon with another project. :)

Have a lovely day! xx

You are my sunshine

Hello everybody! Today I would like to show you a card I made my (not so little anymore) girl for her birthday. As soon as I saw this stamp I knew I had to have it. This image reminds me SO much of my little girl. She also has long hair and for a while she hasn't gone anywhere without her Minnie mouse ears. And when she saw this card she even asked if that was her on there. Bless her, she really knows how to make her mommy's heart sing.

While she still adores Minnie mouse, lately she's been more into Elsa, Olaf and other Frozen characters. I think I will have to go on the lookout for some birthday snowmen (or Frozen related) stamps. :P

Anyways, this is the card I made for my lil one...

This super cute image is from The Greeting Farm. I did the colouring with polychromos. The papers (except for the yellow paper behind the image) are from one of my favourite paper pads from MME. The sentiments are from the same paper pad as the papers.

I decorated the card with some pearls and die-cut hearts.

I wish you a wonderful day. Xx
