Hello, hello! I hope you are having lots of fun on this sunny day. After yesterday's rain we got some sun again today and it's great. :)
Some time ago I made this card, but I never posted it on the blog because it was on the way to The Netherlands and I didn't want the receipent see it before it arrives. Since she has already received it by now, it's safe for me to post it here. I wanted to create a card in bright, happy colours and here's the result.
I used some yellow, red and orange papers from my stash and the green and red patterned papers are from Provo Craft. I printed the sentiment from Word and cut it out with my Spellbinders die. I also used a small flower punch, border punch and butterfly punch. The ribbons and gems are from my stash. I made the flowes myself. The image is from Kanban's Autumn garden stamp set. To make the dots on the trees I used pearl pen from Viva decor.
I hope you like my card and that it reminds you of summer. :) And before I go, I'd like to tell you that Marielle has a fab candy on her blog - go check it out - click here. :)
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs! xx

Baby boy mini album
Good morning! How are you? I'm enjoying my Friday. :) I had a short day at work and there's a loooooong weekend ahead of me so I am in a really good mood. :D I already have so many plans for the weekend (as you probably guessed they all involve crafting lol).
Today I want to show you the mini album that I made for a friend of mine. She's expecting a baby boy and I wanted to do something special for her so I did this. :) I made this album from cardstock and plain white envelopes and I used a lot of different embellishments from various brands, but the ribbons are ALL from Crafty ribbons. They have the cutest baby (and also other) ribbons, I just love them. I decided to make the album in blue, yellow and green colours and guess what, I managed to stay away from all the flowers and butterflies. Darn, that was a hard task! Lol. So, here are the pictures of the album (you can click on the pictures if you want to see bigger images) ...

So, here are the pictures of the album (you can click on the pictures if you want to see bigger images) ...
Front page
The blue paper is from Provo craft and the green paper is from Heidi Grace. The stars are from my stash and the All my love ribbon is from Crafty ribbons - you can find it here. I also used some gold brads and All about scrapbooking and Make it special foam alphabet stickers. I punched the edge of the green paper with my border punch.
First page
I left the inside of the cover empty so my friend could write something on it if she wanted. On the first page I created two spaces for pictures of the baby. The yellow and blue papers are from Provo craft and the other papers are from Heidi Grace.
Second and third page
I found these cute letters among my stash and I decided to write "sweet baby" with them. :) Over the letters I went with diamond Stickles. Circles and scalloped circles were cut with my Spellbinders' dies. On the right sie you can see the cute "Cute as a button" ribbon and some stars. I cut the bigger ones free-hand and I punched the small ones with my craft punch. In the middle of the bigger star I added a button. The photo corners are made from the papers from Nature collage kit from Artsy collage.
Fourth and fifth page
On the left page you can see some bling and some lovely embellishments. I've had these in my drawer for a while, but never got the chance to use them - til now. ;)Those pretty plates are from Art collection. On the right side I created a pocket for a tag. The buttons are all from my stash and so are the hearts in the top corners and the doily behind the pocket. I used 2 different ribbons on this page - Summer breeze ribbon - twill gold (for the tag) and 25 mm sheer ribbon - dk lime (for the bow).
Sixth and seventh page
On the top left corner on the 6th page I created a small banner with Heidi Grace paper and I wrote "boy" with K&Company La boutique stickers. I also added some small gems from my stash. On the bottom of the page I added the pretty Washing line baby ribbon. On 7th page I first made a small pocket for the tag (again I used Summer breeze - twill gold ribbon for my tag) and then glued a doily and a piece of paper over it. I then framed the circle with Summer breeze ribbon - beads gold. I cut the big star free-hand and the small ones are made with punch. I also used some confetti and pearls from my stash.
Eighth and ninth page
On the 8th page you can see some doily and gems again. :) And I also made a bow from the Summer breeze - zipper lime ribbon. On the 9th page I used some stars and moon foam stickers.
Tenth and eleventh page
I made the 10th page pretty simple too. I made a place for the phote, glued some stars around it and on the top of the page I glued Price ribbon from the Best of British collection. I also added two crystals on the ribbon. I like how the 11th page turned out. :) I used buttons from my stash and Multi dots baby ribbon.
Twelfth page
I decided to use some more circles again on my last page. :) The green paper inside the scalloped circles is from Nature collage kit. Around the big circle I glued small stars and I put a crystal to the middle of each of them. I made the bow with a fab yellow ribbon (I LOVE the bright colour - my photo doesn't do it justice) from Crafty ribbons. It's not in the store just yet, but will be next week, so watch out for it. :)
So, that's all from me today. I wish you all a wonderful day! Hugs! xx

Clean and simple
Hi everybody! How are you? Is it hot where you live? We've been melting here for the last couple of days - each day was around 35 degrees Celsius. It's only good the holidays are just around the corner.
Today a new challenge started at Crafty ribbons challenge blog. The theme is "Clean and simple". Now that was a real challenge for me. I kept wanting to add flowers and bling and more flowers and ... You know what I mean, don't you? ;) At the end I decided I would made a Christmas card because usually with those I don't have the urge to add tons of flowers. I did however wanted to cover it with bling. I guess I'm a hopeless case. lol At the end I managed to only use one tiny crystal (and a bling ribbon). :D

I didn't use any patterned paper, just some plain white and blue papers. For the background I used TH snowflakes embossing folder and the die cut snowflakes are Marianne designs dies. The silver snowflake is from confetti pack. I printed the sentiment from Word and I cut it out with Spellbinders die. The ribbon is from Crafty ribbons. And that's all. Really simple, right? :P

Organza flower tutorial
Heya!
Today I have a new tutorial for you. :) And it's another flower tutorial. :D I love using flowers on my projects and therefore I'm always trying to find a new way to make my own flowers. This time I used some organza fabric to make them. Ha, I knew this fabric will come useful one day. I've had it in my closet for quite a while and I wasn't sure what to use it for. Now I think I'll need to go and buy more. lol
Anyways, here's the picture of my flowers.
These are VERY easy to make so I hope you'll give them a try. And here's also my video tutorial on how to make these flowers. If you have any questions feel free to ask. :)
By the way, my sticky tape is pretty strong so this works for me, but if by any chance your sticky tape doesn't work fine, just use your hot glue for the second layer. :)
Have a wonderful day! Hugs! xx

This is what you get when you're done with layering.
And this is what you get if you also use heat gun after you are done.
Which one do you prefer?

Best of British event - day 15
Hello! Wow, can you believe it's June already? This year is goingby so quickly - or so it seems (to me). Do you have any plans for summer holidays yet? I've already booked mine - I'm going on a cruise around Greece (and we'll also stop in Italy and Montenegro) next month and I can't wait. July will be a fun month for me - first my friend from The Neherlands comes to visit and then holidays. I'm SO looking forward to this! :D
Our Best of British event that we have going on CRPI blog is slowly coming to an end - tomorrow is the last day. But let's not talk about that just yet. Let's rather focus what we have for you today. :) We have another wonderful sponsor - a company which I'm sure you all know (or at least most of you). Today's prize is donated by Lili of the valley. They have very cute stamps so check out their site if you haven't yet. They are giving the lucky winner this awesome prize ...
A gift voucher to spend in their store. You can get a couple of their adorable stamps with that. :D
I made a card with one of their images - it's called "Feather boa".
The purple paper with butterflies that I used in the background is from the vintage set (I couldn't find the brand name on the paper pad, sorry) and the flowery paper I used behind the image is from Nature collage kit by Artsy collage. The flowers are made with TH Tattered florals die and my craft punches. The ribbon is from Crafty ribbons. I colored the image with Promarkers and on boa I also applied Stickles. I also used my border punch. The crystals on the flowers are from my stash.
I hope you like my card. :) My teamies also made wonderful projects with LOTV images so do check the CRPI blog to see what they made. :)
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs!
