New week, new things

Hello everybody! How are you? I hope your week started off well!

Today I want to show you a small box I did. In my previous post I showed you the necklace and earrings set which I made for a birthday gift. Well, I needed a bag or a box for that gift. I've never made a box before, so I wasn't sure I'd be up for a challenge, but I decided to give it a try anyway. I drew a pattern for the box on a creamy white card stock, cut it out and folded and glued where it was needed. Then I took another piece of white card stock and did a lot of stamping and distressing so I got the pattern I wanted. For stamping I used Inkadinkado's Fluid motion stamps and for distressing I used Tim Holtz's Spun sugar and Brushed corduroy distress inks. After that I used the Spellbinders' Classic scalloped circle die (the biggest of the six that came in the pack) and cut 2 scalloped circles from my decorated paper (the one I previously stamped and distressed). I decorated one of the circles with some crystals, glitters and flowers which I made myself from the satin ribbon in very bright peach colour. For the center of the flowers I used white beads from my stash. I glued the scalloped circles to the front and to the back of the box I previously made.

Here is the front of the box.

And here is the back of the box.

I would like to add this box to the following challenges:
Simon says stamp: Anything but a card
Ladybug crafts ink TLT: Anything but a card
